The role of our Approved Delivery Centres

ASQ approved delivery centres, with the support of ASQ will design their Qualifications and Learning Programmes to meet the needs of their learners, employers and wider community stakeholders, whilst adhering to the regulatory legislation and frameworks (where required) and ASQ quality assurance and delivery standards.  Finalised regulatory qualifications are submitted to the relevant country qualification framework and then can be viewed publicly by learners and providers seeking the best qualification so suit their needs.

Please note in England, Northern Ireland and Wales, selected qualifications may firstly be subject to regulatory scrutiny and accreditation process prior to delivery to learners.  A further separate submissions to SQA Accreditation is required for qualifications that you wish to have accredited to their SCQF (Scottish Credit and Qualification framework).

For non-regulated, endorsed programmes, approved delivery centres will be required to meet ASQs quality assurance standards.  Programmes will be treated with the same robust ASQ moderation processes as regulated programmes, but will remain private to the Centre, enabling the programme, and its learners, to benefit from the credibility and value that an awarding body endorsement can add, with the added benefit and controlling ownership and delivery of their programme.

Quality Assurance

As our External Verification process is crucial to maintaining our quality assurance and compliance standards, all ASQ approved delivery centres will be required to follow ASQ policies. These have been designed to support our learners to ensure they receive the best possible support and experience. Approved delivery centres will be required to have their own quality assurance structure in place, or be prepared to build this into their environment upon 'Approved Delivery Centre Application' with the support and guidance of the ASQ External Verifier.

Annual Approved Delivery Centre visits to maintain internal quality assurance will take place by an ASQ External Verifier in conjunction with desk top sampling to ensure no quality is compromised.

All details of the fee structures and costs associated with the qualifications will be reviewed and updated annually. These will be made accessible to centres via the centre handbook or via this website. We will advise centres of changes to fees at least six months prior to implementation.
